Maths Week 2022

Maths week, as always, brought lots of excitement to Scoil Mhuire, with plenty of fun classroom activities, outdoor trails and maths games in every room.

There was a scurry to the front window each day to see who could be the first to solve the 'daily maths puzzle'. Winner to be announced!

Well done to those who entered the Maths Eyes competition, it proved as popular again this year with many interesting maths observations and problem solving, numerous entries 'as Gaeilge' too.. very impressive. Winners and prizes to be announced at assembly after Halloween.

The Senior & Junior classes paired up for the maths games session. Great to see such healthy competitiveness, leadership & most importantly kindness amongst the children.
